 Sea Form Bronze Years ago, when my husband and I were taking dive vacations, I had a particularly memorable experience. There were 12 foot swells from a combination of the spring tide, a full moon and what the locals of Andros Island called a dry rage. We dove anyway, the underside of the surge swaying me back and forth in time with the sea fans and anemones as the current took me down the length of the coral reef. A large grouper followed me like a cat… a reef shark watched me, hovering on my periphery…a startled sea turtle flapped its way into the Blue. The colors were intense – hot pinks, lime greens, vibrant oranges, electric violets and blues. To conserve air, I breathed slowly, calming myself into the combination of rhythms. I could feel the forces of the tide and surge and how they must shape the forms on the reef. The pieces in my Sea Forms Series reflect this give and take of the water, the interconnected webs of reef life and the enclosed completeness of my diving experiences.   Rose Coral
